Call for Workshop Proposals

TABPHE 36th Annual State Conference
“Leadership at all Levels ~ Mentoring, Maximizing and Motivating”

March 5-7, 2009 • Hilton Austin Airport Hotel
Austin, Texas

The success of TABPHE conferences has always depended on you!  We encourage you to submit a workshop proposal so that your colleagues may benefit from your knowledge and insight.  Preferential treatment will be given to co-presenters, group presentations and panels.

Proposals must be received by December 1, 2008.  The limited number of workshop opportunities may necessitate an earlier deadline, so please submit your proposal as soon as possible. The selected presenters will be notified by December 10th.  Proposals will be judged on content, clarity, and reflection of the conference theme.  Time allotted for each workshop is 1 hour and 15 minutes, including questions & answers.  Overhead projector and screen will be provided for each presentation.  The presenter must provide all other audiovisual needs and materials.  We strongly encourage all presenters to provide handouts.  All conference presenters must register for the conference.

We invite you to submit your ideas, inspiration and innovative presentations that reflect the essence of this year’s conference theme, “Leadership at all Levels ~ Mentoring, Maximizing and Motivating.”  Please submit your proposal on one of the following (or other) topics:

  • Mentoring/effective academic advising
